A Tree Fell on our House

This Friday, in the middle of the night, a tree in our backyard fell onto our house. Luckily, it didn't do much damage, it just bent the gutter. But at about 4 a.m. I thought there was an earthquake. I tried to wake Nick up to explain to him that a tree fell on our house, and his response was, "What do you want me to do about it???" He's a little delirious in his sleep. It's still there, and now we have to figure out how to get rid of it. Any ideas?

I don't know? Maybe cut it up? Do you guys have a neighborhood clean-up day where they'll take away big things for free? Oh, and I called you last night and I got my ticket! Yay!

oh my gosh! I say cut it up and keep it for fire wood. was it in your yard? if not you might be able to call the city and they might take care of it. I'm just guessing on that one though.

that's a bummer!! I'm really glad it do much damage like crash through your window or something! Those crazy boys! That sounds like something Michael would do if I woke him up to tell him. He gets all weird if Will wakes up and he's in his sleep. I always tell him to be quiet and to go back to sleep. Anyway, I hope the tree thing gets fixed and just wanted to say that we're very very excited to see you guys. Will can't stop talking about it.

Sorry, that's supposed to say it didn't do much damage. With a capital begining the sentence. Awesome! It was a little ghetto sounding.

Oh, one more thing, I know you want half your comments to be from us. Michael wanted me to say that he's glad it happened before we got there. That's from him, not me. I'm glad nobody got hurt. He's all selfish.
