Dum da da dum . . . I'm pregnant!

I already posted something on facebook, but I couldn't forget about my blog. About two months ago, Nick and I found out that I am pregnant and I don't think that we could be more excited. We were really surprised because of the timing. And we feel like it is a little miracle in our lives. It is just crazy the way things turned out and the Lord has blessed us.
The last year Nick and I were struggling with a lot of changes and life decisions, and they were almost all answered in a week! I got my job, bought a house, and got pregnant (although I didn't know it) in one week. I guess when it rains it really does pour (a very appropriate metaphor now living in Oregon). Thank you to everyone who prayed and supported us through some of these changes.
I am 12 weeks along and am due May 20th. I am already feeling like the first trimester is coming to an end, thank goodness. Now I don't have to worry about falling asleep while I listen to kids talk about their problems :)

I am going to put one of those little fetus trackers on my blog, just so I can track your pregnancy. And also, so it might make you throw up a little every time your visit my blog.

Again, congrats on becoming a mommy-in-training!

HOORAY!!! SO SO SO EXCITED!! Nick told Michael that you guys heard the heartbeat the other day! Isn't it so awesome! We can't wait! I'm sure you can't either, but I can't believe you are already through that first trimester. I'm glad you're still feeling good. Just think, in 8 weeks you'll know if it's a little lexie or a little Nick.

Sam, if you are crapping me, I'm going to hurt you. When are you going to visit? Let's set a date now! Before or after the baby, your pick. And I would also like to come visit you, I hope you're okay with inviting myself. I'm not sure when but I really want to.

We are so excited for you both! And I love how life just kinda "works out." When something goes wrong, everything follows and you wonder "what are we gonna do?" And then BAM it's figured out for you (kinda). Congrats and we love you guys!

congratulations! i already read this post, but must not have been logged in to leave a comment before. that is really exciting. what a great time to have a little one! oh and i had to comment on your freshman girls basketball team...are you the head coach? we had a great team when i was a frosh....don't be jealous, but we went 22-0. Sticks swore he was going to quit coaching after us because i'm sure he had similar experiences as you are having...poor girls. i think i feel more sorry for them than you :) wouldn't it be sad to be in the 9th grade and not know what the difference between offense and defense is?! sad. doesn't it seem that kids are growing older faster on the outside? must be at the expense of their insides...anyway, this is turning out way longer than i expected! congratulations and can't wait to hear more about this bball team!
