I should probably make a continual blog post that starts with, You know you're a bad mother when . . .
But anyways, I like to listen to sometimes inappropriate music: pop, rap, rock, you name it. And although it is edited, Nick still gets mad at me for playing it in the car while Briz is in there. A little Eminem isn't going to hurt her! But she has taken on a few favorites, and as much as this may be a bad thing, I think it's hilarious. Her three favorite songs right now are (forgive me if I don't have the names right):
1. California Girls by Katie Perry. She gets excited when the chorus comes on and starts bopping back and forth.
2. King of Anything by Sara Bareilles. This pleases me the most because well, I think Sara Bareilles is awesome, and so does Briz. Okay, I'll admit, I may have forced this one on her a little bit. But she still likes it!
3. And her newest favorite is a song that goes, "I put my hands up in the air sometimes, saying Aaaayyyooo . . ." Don't know the title, don't care to. This is how I know she is an individual, because I hate this song. The other day she was crying in the car, but then this song came on and she started dancing and putting her hands in the air.
On another note, she has become deviant. She has completely stopped listening to me. I might as well be mute because my words, like Uh-huh!, No!, Stop!, Hold my hand! mean nothing. (Every once in a while threatening a time out works). She also has learned to steal kids food at daycare when her teachers aren't looking. I am so screwed with this child.

A girl after my own heart.
She likes her music, just like Aunt sisi.
Oh and that last song is called Dynamite by Taio Cruz.
And I'm shocked you don't like it.
That's hilarious! Have her spend a day with my 70's husband and when James Taylor comes on she'll ask if it's Michael, just like Will does. That was a very proud moment for Michael. I roll my eyes and say, "You weren't even born yet, you weren't even there!" He only wishes. Our little gansta Briz!! Love it!! P.S. don't feel bad, Will refuses to hold my hand anywhere and when we cross the street, he hold onto to Ella's stroller so he doesn't have to hold my hand! I look at all the other good little children holding hands with their parents while mine runs away, says, "Ouch!" so loudly, if I try to control him, while he runs into people and dances through the isles singing songs from the Wiggles. Then he'll stop to say, "Excuse us!" every now and again. He thinks he's in charge. Oh man, we need these two to meet, would we have our hands full!
Trouble, trouble. But I love that she loves music. And it seems she has some good taste!
Ha ha, i love that she's a tough mamma. If those kids can't defend themselves, then I say, fair game.
I fully intend to have my children listen to the same stuff. :)
Ethan likes that Katy Perry song too! He likes to "sing" the chorus. It's so cute! I'm sure her having huge boobies has nothing to do with it..
