Brizban (we also call her Brizzy or Briz), was born on April 30, 2009 at 7:25 p.m. She weighed 7 lbs. 1 oz., 19 inches long. She is a little thing, but still had chubby cheeks when she was born. She was born with a full head of blonde hair! I was shocked. I thought for sure she would have darker hair (that would eventually turn lighter). She has dark dark blue eyes right now, but we'll see how they turn out. She was born a total conehead, and her face was pretty swollen. The swelling has gone down, but she still has a bump on her head, that will probably take a few weeks to completely swell down. She has freakishly long hands and toes. Got that from her Dad. Let's hope she got his speed as well so she can be an athletic force.

A big yawn. Tired from the traumatic experience of being born!
Our stay at the hospital was tiring but great. We had awesome nurses and wonderful visitors. The whole time Nick and I were in awe of Brizban, just how beautiful she is and how much we already love her.
