Age Gap

There are times when I don't notice the age difference between Wembley and Briz all that much.  When we are in our routine, it doesn't seem to be too big of a deal.  But lately, as its been nicer out, and we have been playing, I am starting to notice it a ton.  And so is Briz.

It helps if we can do playdates or meet friends places so Briz doesn't get bored.

But lately, she has been really trying to force Wembley to walk and really wants Wembley to play with her.  Wembley is not at all interested and usually when Brizzy tries to hold her, Wembley freaks out.  Not a big fan.  It's actually really sad because Brizzy desperately wants a playmate and to be close with her sister.  I have to explain over and over again, "Wems is a baby and doesn't understand."  We are working on giving her space, but sometimes my heart brakes for little Briz, who doesn't have a sibling close in age to play with.  We talk about how we miss Holly because she would be really fun to play with, and ways that we can still have fun.  Briz is usually a great sport, but I just hope and pray that these two love each other and are still close.
